With August coming to a close, we are etching ever closer to the start of the new term – and with the new term comes new students. We can’t wait to welcome in all those new faces starting at Quest Professional this September and we’re very excited to get to know you all over the coming months. In the mean time have a browse through what past Quest students have to say on their experience.

We recently caught up with Emma Says, one of our Quest Professional alumni, who has been busy working at Bell Pottinger, one of the largest UK-based PR consultancies, for the past 6 months. She found the job via a posting advertised online by the Quest Professional in-house recruitment team.

Quest does the ALS Ice Bucket challenge

The time has come where we have all been nominated for the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge! On a grey August day, Andy and Kelly braved the inevitable plunge all in the name of charity to help fight ALS.  Follow the link to our Facebook video below to see the result…

The place to be

Looking ahead to the start of the new term, we’ve made a note of some of the lunch hour hot spots for our Quest Professional students.  From a quick coffee to a nice lunch, the students are spoilt for choice.  Just around the corner you’ll find 23 Grosvenor Gardens, Nightingale Café and The Balls Brothers pub all providing good places for a refuel, let alone the amenities  Victoria station itself houses . It’s not uncommon to find Quest students taking over the lunch lines for a sandwich or coffee fix!

Those on the Graduate Training Programme based at Wetherby Gardens are similarly well stocked with The Hereford Arms, Café Forum and Nandos down the road. With many more attractions a stone’s throw away, the opportunities to socialise after Quest finishes for the day are endless.

Building the Quest Professional network

Whilst enjoying the summer we have been mindful of the need to continually work hard developing and maintaining the Quest Professional network - providing employment, work experience, mentoring and direct advice to students but importantly also helps to shape and define Quest’s Programmes content.  We are delighted that so many of our students secure jobs so soon after leaving Quest Professional, resulting in demand for our students being higher than ever.  We have spent the summer meeting with our existing contacts and we’re very grateful for the continued support, advice, and guidance organisations such as KPMG, BDO, Savills and Bell Pottinger contribute to life at Quest Professional.  We are delighted to welcome new additions to the Quest Professional Network and look forward to moving relationships forward with Goodstuff, LJ Group and Financial Lifestyle Management.  If you or your organisation would like to become involved then please do get in touch.
